Ed’s work includes music for film, stage, dance, and multimedia events. His film scores include the Academy Award nominated documentary “Scottsboro”, Portraits of Grief – A Tribute to the Victims of the September 11th Tragedy (New York Times Television), Forgiveness (PBS) and “Naked Man” by Academy Award winner Ethan Coen. He has also composed the scores to several critically acclaimed PBS series including “Carrier” and “Frontier House”.
Recently, Ed joined the creative team of “SACRED” as composer and music director. “SACRED” is a global-documentary event in development and produced by New York Public Television.
Together with Sonic Highway composers Ed is producing the score for Ken Burns upcoming PBS series “The Emperor of All Maladies – The Story of Cancer”.
Ed’s long relationship with Pilobolus has yielded 5 dance-theater collaborations including “On The Nature of Things”, “Night of The Dark Moon”, “Star Gazed” and “Bugonia” all of which have enjoyed international tours. Other compositions include Lucid Dreams written for the American Composers Orchestra and “Mission Eternity’ for Beyond the Machine Festival at the Juilliard School.
In recent years, Ed has turned his creative energy towards developing innovative multimedia and theatrical experiences. Created at the intersection of theatre, music, journalism, and technology “BASETRACK LIVE” tells the stories of a battalion of Marines in Afghanistan and their emotional journey home. “BASETRACK LIVE” began a national tour of 21 cities on September 11th Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on Veteran’s Day.

Michelle has composed and produced music in all genres and mediums and her works have been performed at theaters around the world including Alice Tully Hall, Zankel Hall, BAM, Komische Oper in Berlin, South Bank Centre in London, Dr. Dantes Aveny in Copenhagen and Teatro Carlos Gomes in Rio de Janeiro . Commissions include Kronos Quartet, Pilobolus, Lincoln Center Institute and a new ballet-opera for Musiktheater im Revier entitled, Death and the Painter, based on the life and work of artist Charlotte Salomon. Her music for film and TV is regularly featured on PBS and her soundtrack for the film, Wendigo, won the NPR/WNYC, New Sounds Listeners Poll: Best New Soundtracks.
In her capacity as Executive Music Producer and Composer at Sonic Highway, she has written or produced the music for hundreds of television commercials including themes for AT&T, Volvo, American Express and L’Oreal. Michelle is on the faculty at Juilliard teaching in both the music and drama divisions.

Composer and Producer Greg has been creating original music for film and television for over 20 years. His scores for television include the PBS documentary seires “Circus”, and “Carrier” (Icon Productions). Kalember has scored many other documentary seires such as “Explorer” (National Geographic), “Biography” (A&E), and the classic anime series “Shaman King” (Fox). His film credits include “Voices Unbound: The Story of the Freedom Writers”, “Shoot Down” (Rogues Harbor Productions), the award winning “Asparagus! – Stalking the American Life”, and “Blood in the Sand” by Noah Haidle and Sam Gold.
Recent works include the score for the Emmy Award winning “Homestretch” (Kartemquin Films), which aired as part of the PBS Independent Lens series, and his music is heavily featured in the multimedia production “Basetrack Live” which made its New York debut at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave festival, and is currently on a national tour. Kalember also composed the score for “Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies”, a 3-part Public Television series directed by Barak Goodman with executive producer Ken Burns, and he recorded, mixed, as well as contributed original compositions to the score of the PBS documentary “Sacred: Milestones of a Spiritual Life”
Kalember started his musical career as a drummer in the world of heavy metal. His four-song EP “Tear Down The Walls” has achieved legendary status among collectors of metal records. In addition to the hundreds of pieces he has composed and produced for a vast array of advertising clients, many of the world’s leading fashion designers including Versace, Gucci, Fekkai and Tiffany have been drawn to Kalember’s edgy and high-energy style, and have launched their products with his tracks.
Project Manager, Composer, Music Editor
Composer Keren Minto is Project Manager at Sonic Highway where she is supervising the production of the scores to “The Story of Cancer – Emperor of All Maladies”, a Ken Burns film (PBS), SACRED, a global documentary event (WNET – New York Public Television) and Basetrack Live, a multimedia theatrical event now touring the nation.
As a composer, Keren’s film credits include the scores to the indie flick “Four Corners Road” (’12 – Double V Films) “Densely Hollow” (’13 – Densely Hollow Films) and numerous commercials and videos. She has also contributed tracks to many of Sonic Highways current projects. In addition to her work in music Keren is also a director and production manager. Her work in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office for Media and Entertainment garnered her a 2014 New York Emmy Award for “Best of the Bronx” in her role as Production Manager.
A classically trained percussionist and pianist, Keren is an alumnus of the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY, where she also studied composition with Michael Bacon and John Corigliano.
